My Last Minute Thanksgiving

Sometimes it’s the unplanned last minute rush of creativity that makes space for raw simplistic beauty.

I’m usually very ahead of the game when it comes to my thanksgiving tablescapes, but I had no time to prepare decor for this one. I took raw branches from the icy city streets of New York, gatherered some things from around the house, earthy vases and dried plants, and paired it all with endless amounts of ikea pillar candles.

The trick to hosting is not always about being so planned out, but about having the right items readily available so that when you are rushed, you can pull something together with effortless ease.
